Congresses & meetings
The XVIII WFN World Congress on Parkinson's Disease and Related Disorders took place in Miami Beach, Florida, from the 13th to the 16th of December 2009. The Congress was a success from both scientific and educational standpoints, and enjoyed a large international attendance. Proceedings of the congress were published in Parkinsonism & Related Disorders. The XIX World Congress on Parkinson's Disease and Related Disorders took place in Shanghai, China (10-14 December, 2011). The program featured not only the latest scientific developments, but also included exciting forums, video supported lectures, workshops and an extensive educational program (For a photo-impression, click herel).

XX World Congress on Parkinson's Disease and Related Disorders
In 2013 our congress will take place in Geneva under the co-chairmen François Vingerhoets and Michael Baumann. For more info, click here!.
The host cities of the upcoming congresses will be chosen by the full APRD members during the AGM meeting three years before the actual date of these congresses. These cities will be proposed by the IAPRD board.
Since 2009, APRD has initiated an educational committee, under the chairmanship of Daniel Truong, and has started to organize educational congresses.
